As stated in the clinical trials of the acetyl hexapeptide, which is the main active ingredient in Créme de Vie, a 10% inclusion rate of the solution must be used for it to be effective. We have not cut any corners, and include the stipulated amount and you therefore will experience the same benefits as was found during the tests.

Applied twice daily, as required, the full anti-aging and anti-wrinkle benefit of the cream will be apparent in 30 days.

The other ingredients used, such as Argireline^® Hydromanil^® Aldenine^® Vitamin E, rosehip oil, avocado oil etc will further enhance this action.

The highest level of GMP manufacture and microbiological analysis and stability studies are in accordance with GMP to ensure that it complies and exceeds all relevant international standards.

All raw materials used by Rex, Rafferty & Argent Cosmeceuticals (Pty) Ltd are tested according to the USP and BP. 

After manufacture of the Créme de Vie anti-aging and anti-wrinkle treatment cream is subjected to stability testing.

In addition, we further perform a challenge test in accordance with the USP NF 23 Microbiological Tests <51> Anti-microbial Effectiveness Test, wherein the product is loaded with a known concentration of five different micro-organisms viz.

• Candidia albicans
• Aspergillus niger
• E. coli
• Staphylococcus aureus
• Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Samples are taken weekly over a period of 28 days and the % kill is monitored.

To comply the set-down standards the following applies:

• The concentration of viable bacteria are reduced to not more than 0.1% of the initial concentration by the 14^th day

• The concentration of viable yeasts and moulds remains at or below the initial concentration during the first 14 days.

• The concentration of each test micro-organism remains at or below these designated levels during the reminder of the 14 day period.

This is to ensure that the product is well-preserved and stable and is done to maintain product integrity during its entire shelf life.

After manufacture the product undergoes tests for Total Viable Count and also undergoes Limit Tests.
