Wrinkle formation

The most evident sign of aging is the formation of wrinkles and lines on the face, and one of the biggest culprits being the exposure to sunlight, as it is one of the most ageing factors around.

Your skin starts to age and wrinkle when your skin cells are dying off faster than what your body can replace them and the connective tissue undergoes changes that affect the mass of interlocking fibers.

The support of the epidermis becomes like an old mattress - its loses it firmness and folds form where the epidermis then sink in - and that is the dreaded wrinkle.

These indentations which form are at places determined by the constant and repetitive movement of the facial muscles. It is with this action that our anti-wrinkle and anti-aging treatment cream helps, since it attenuates the repetitive over-stimulation of the facial muscles.

To illustrate further - if you take a piece of sponge rubber, and constantly fold it at the exact same spot, the sponge eventually will start forming a "wrinkle" at that spot, and each time the sponge is moved, it will wrinkle at that specific point.

The elastic fibers which are intermingled with the connective tissue also undergo changes as we age, and here exposure to the sun can hasten this degenerative process of the skin. These changes make the skin less supple and skin tone is also reduced.
